A short update from English for Life

At the moment I am in the middle of a major restructuring and relocation.
Because of this, the website is temporarily offline and my teaching schedule is lighter than usual.

I will be fully active again from May.

In the meantime, I am still available for selected online sessions, especially for:

• Business English professionals
• Exam preparation (short-term intensive preparation)
• Focused grammar refreshers
• Conversation sessions for advanced learners

You are welcome to contact me directly via this page if you are interested in working together.

Behind the scenes I am also developing a new mini-course:
The History of the English Language — a one-month course that explains why English works the way it does.
If you have ever wondered why English spelling is strange, why the language mixes Germanic and Latin words, or how modern English developed, this course will give you the answers.

That’s why I’m growing The Language Community:
a warm, supportive space for adults who want to practise English in real-life situations, together.

Most activities happen in person around Schaffhausen (SH region) – conversation groups, Read & Speak sessions, walks & talks – complemented by selected online elements.

The Language Community is part of the English for Life ecosystem and focuses on connection, confidence, and human interaction.

Almost finished ! Almost at the end of an Era..
I am in the final stages of dissolving the Classroom in Hadlikon and from the 1. October I will be floating😉.

Childrens Workshops will be on the Lama Farm Yacana in Gossau ZH :-

Halloween 29.10.25

Santa‘s Workshop 10.12.25

Private lessons will be arranged individually and Online lessons will obviously not be affected.
