Last week, Léa Boisadam, Oyunbileg Seuret, Gregory Samuel Stauffer, Arthur Miles Urben, Marie Voseckova and Dilara Bayrak represented the University of Geneva in the 27th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
After several months of hard work, our team received an honourable mention for our Memorandum for Claimant. I am truly delighted for this accomplishment that only 19 universities received out of the competing 398.
Many thanks go to our coaches Simon Bianchi and Elena Neidhart, to the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva but also to all our sponsors. Even though our team could not attend any pre-moots nor the actual session in Vienna due to the current worldwide situation, we are nevertheless very happy to have been a part of the Moot experience.

We are very proud to announce that the University of Geneva’s team has made history today.
Our team won the first place for Claimant’s memorandum, an honorable mention for Respondent’s memorandum and made it to the 64th rounds for the oral pleadings out of 366 participating teams (honorable mention).
We would like to thank Elena Neidhart and Roxanne Allot for their exceptional coaching and support without whom we would have not made it.
Congratulations to all the other teams, especially the Swiss ones, who did an amazing job too.
Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to all the organizers and practitioners that give this great opportunity for students all around the world to meet, exchange, and enhance skills.

Last weekend, our team participated in the Swiss Days pre-moot organized by Homburger in Saint-Gall. We would like to thank Homburger, the organizers, arbitrators, coaches and the other teams for this unique experience. It was an excellent way to improve our pleading skills for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna.
