🏭 How should AI be introduced in one of the world’s largest employing sectors?

The ILO has adopted the first-ever tripartite conclusions on AI in manufacturing, agreed by governments, employers and workers from 54 countries.

As AI transforms production systems, jobs and skills needs, the conclusions set out practical guidance to help ensure that technological change supports:

• Decent work
• Higher productivity
• Safe and healthy workplaces
• Skills development and lifelong learning
• Stronger social dialogue
• A just transition for workers and enterprises

🌍 With nearly 500 million workers employed in manufacturing worldwide, this marks an important step toward a more human-centred approach to AI in the real economy.
