🌍 Are you interested in understanding and managing geological and climate-related risks?
The CERG-C training course at the University of Geneva is back for 2026!
📅 Course dates: April–June 2026
🗓️ Application deadline: 15 September 2025
Since 1988, the CERG-C (Specialization Certificate in the Assessment and Management of Geological and Climate-related Risk) has trained participants from over 80 countries, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to reduce the impact of natural hazards.
This internationally recognized program takes a multidisciplinary approach, combining the physical and social sciences, engineering, and economics to tackle real-world challenges in risk assessment and management.
Through the CERG-C, you’ll learn not only how to assess and manage risk, but also how to communicate effectively with decision-makers, communities, and the media before, during, and after natural disasters.
As extreme events increase in frequency and severity, building local and global capacity for disaster risk reduction is more urgent than ever.
