Spring is definitely in the air in our Nursery 2 classroom, and with it the chance to dive into the mouth-watering story of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle.

Remembering all the many tasty morsels that the Caterpillar tucks into as he grows towards becoming a glorious butterfly, our students took turns visualising the vocabulary of the story while practising their knowledge of sequences and numbers.

Our Nursery students have stepped into the shoes of astronomers and astronauts as they begin their exploration of their unit on "Space".

As part of their investigations, they shaped their very own planets and stars using salt dough and painted them in their respective colours as a fun and artistic way of remembering all their names.

The Teaching Young Learners Extension Certificate - or TYLEC - is a specialist certificate awarded by Trinity College London. Ideal for qualified English language teachers, this training equips you with the skills and knowledge to teach English to children and teenagers aged 7 to 16.

At Bell International School, we believe that small schools like ours are like big families, and we strive to make all our learners and educators feel like valued individuals who are cared for by the wider group and celebrated in their important life milestones.

One of the ways we do this is by marking the passing of time with our students, especially with our young learners, for whom birthdays are synonymous with growing in independence and maturity.

Just the other day, our Primary community came together to celebrate the 6th birthday of our student, Eliana. After singing whole-heartedly to her in unison, our students enjoyed sharing a deliciously fruity birthday cake. Many happy returns, Eliana!

As part of our fide test preparation course, we offer our adult learners a fully immersive virtual reality session to experience oral exam conditions in an ultra-realistic virtual exam room. This activity enables candidates to become familiar with the atmosphere of an official oral examination, reinforce their memorisation skills and make their learning more effective.

The VR experience includes 45 minutes of coaching from an expert, who provides written personalised feedback to the student.

Creativity was in bloom recently in our Nursery 1 class! Our little learners enjoyed a wonderful hands-on activity combining nature and imagination in our local park. After carefully picking flowers outdoors, the children used them to create their own beautiful artworks.

This sensory activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, exploration, and a connection with the natural world — all while having lots of fun together.
