Our little learners in our Nursery 2 class are all accomplished artists!

Most recently, they have been drawing inspiration from the changing colours and falling leaves that come with the autumn season to create some beautiful artwork using paint and collage. In fact, their creativity truly knows no limits as they armed themselves with original tools to recreate their autumnal patterns: forks, stamps and even their own fingers!

Only one more week until half-term and our Autumn Explorers holiday camp!

Welcoming children aged 4 to 10 of all English levels, this exciting holiday camp will be a great opportunity for participants’ inner cheeky monsters to come out. Through arts and crafts activities, outdoor fun and engaging workshops, our camp-goers will be able to practice their English skills while spending their holiday energy.

Dans leurs cours de français, nos jeunes artistes travaillent sur un auto-portrait un peu particulier !

À partir d’une photographie, ils observent attentivement leur visage puis imaginent et dessinent la partie manquante de l’image. Une activité qui développe l’observation, la concentration, la motricité fine, le repérage dans l’espace, les proportions, la créativité et l’imagination. Le tout, en pratiquant la terminologie de l'art en français !

What could you achieve if you made French a priority for three weeks?

Our Intensive French Course gives adult learners the opportunity to step away from their usual routine and focus on developing their language skills in a supportive small-group environment.

Suitable for all levels, with placement testing helping us match each learner's current ability, participants will develop their French through practical activities covering communication, pronunciation and speaking, vocabulary and language skills, everyday and socio-professional situations, debates, presentations and conversations, and strategies for communicating more effectively.

Throughout the course, our teachers provide regular individual feedback to help participants track their progress and keep moving forward.

Congratulations to our avid bookworm, George, who has completed Stage 6 of the Monster Phonics DfE Validated Phonics Programme books.

The 10 fiction and 6 non-fiction books in this series include alternative pronunciations of the letter sounds "ir", "ur", "oa", "oo" (short), "oo" (long), "oe", "ou", "ow" (long O), "ow" and "ue", exciting phonetic wow words such "terrific" and colour-coded guidance to highlight the letters where special attention must be paid.

Construction workers have arrived on site in our Nursery 1 class, and the work can begin! Few jobs require as much teamwork as construction and working together certainly pays off: the bulldozer brings in the rocks, which are then loaded into the dump truck!

In our Nursery 2 classroom, we make sure our students get a chance to work on their fine motor skills regularly through arts and crafts activities.

Most recently, our little learners were tasked with cutting carefully along pre-marked lines, gaining in agility and ease in the safe handling of scissors. The earlier children develop these important skills, the more confident they will be in using them later in their schooling.
