As the Director of International Relations & Doctorate Programs at the International Institute in Geneva (IIG), Dr. Nawal brings over 30 years of global experience in banking and finance, having worked with top financial institutions across Europe and the Middle East. Her expertise and real-world insights help students bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry practices, ensuring their learning is both practical and impactful.

Dr. Nawal’s teaching philosophy combines hands-on learning with academic rigor. Drawing on her extensive background at renowned institutions such as Citigroup, Arab Bank (Switzerland), Saint-Schreiber Associates International, and her own enterprise, NWNT Consulting Sàrl, she empowers her students to apply theory to real-world challenges.

This includes engaging with case studies, inviting guest speakers, and attending international conferences. Her leadership of the annual banking conference at IIG connects students with experts in finance, FinTech, and credit, providing them with invaluable networking and learning opportunities.

IIG was thrilled to visit Vietnam as part of our global tour, led by Mr. Tarek, Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing! During this special tour, Mr. Tarek had the opportunity to meet with ambitious Vietnamese students and introduce them to IIG’s unique pathway to Swiss education through our exchange programs in partnership with reputable Vietnamese universities. 🌍

What’s more, IIG offer a special exchange program for Vietnamese students with Saigon Business School, making Swiss education more accessible with optimal pricing and tailored study programs. How do we prepare future leaders for a world shaped by AI, data, and constant technological change?

✨ For Dr. Dogan, this question has guided more than 30 years of work across industry and academia.

As Department Head of Computer Science, Business Analytics & AI at the International Institute in Geneva (IIG), Dr. Dogan brings a rare blend of academic depth and real-world leadership into the classroom. Having led large-scale digital transformation, enterprise architecture, and IT programs across Turkey, Poland, and Switzerland, he believes that technology creates impact not through tools alone but through people who know how to use it creatively, responsibly, and strategically.

At IIG, his teaching goes beyond theory. Drawing from real cases in global ERP programs, data platforms, cloud architecture, and AI-driven initiatives, Dr. Dogan helps students understand how AI and data analytics influence real business decisions, organizations, and society. 📚

Through collaborations with industry leaders such as AWS, Nestlé, P&G, Microsoft, Oracle, Google, and more, he ensures that learning remains relevant, authentic, and connected to today’s digital landscape. Students often describe his classes as practical, engaging, and inspiring, where complex concepts become accessible through hands-on exercises and open discussion.

IIG was proud to wrap up our 2025 School Tour Series right here in Switzerland! 🇨🇭
During this special wrap-up tour, Ms. Sonia, IIG Director of Admissions and Events, had the pleasure of meeting bright and ambitious students at Collège du Léman, Ecolint Nations, and Zurich International School.

These school visits focused on guiding students toward their higher education pathways, introducing them to IIG’s distinguished academic programs, experienced international faculty, and the scholarship opportunities available to support their academic journey. Through open discussions and direct engagement, students gained valuable insights into what studying at IIG truly offers beyond the classroom.

Bringing our 2025 tour to a close in Switzerland was especially meaningful, reinforcing our commitment to supporting students in making informed decisions about their future and connecting them with high-quality higher education opportunities.
