On April 10, His Excellency Datu Sadja Dr. Matthew Pajares Yngson, FRSA FLS FRAS, our Advisory Board Chair and Provost, had the honor of performing a special presentation to Mr. Allan Carlo Talens Ramos, one of our recent graduates from the Philippines, of his diploma and apostille at the Solaire Resort North in Metro Manila, Philippines. Dr. Yngson is currently in Manila for his diplomatic activities.

Mr. Ramos was accompanied by his proud parents who received a special gift from Dr. Yngson—a copy of his book "Hidden Treasures: Business Opportunities in Island States".

Our Advisory Board Chair and Provost, Datu Sadja Dr. Matthew Pajares Yngson KCR FRSA FLS, recently had the unique opportunity to be a special Observer and Head of Delegation to the United Nations International Conference on Small Island Developing States.

At this global conference, he was able to meet with His Excellency Antonio Guterres - Secretary General of the United Nations, and Her Excellency Rabab Fatima - Under Secretary-General and High Representative of the UN-OHRLLS.

Among the important topics discussed at this conference was education initiatives in the digital space. We are hopeful that our institution can continue to be at the forefront of online education.

In pursuit of our mandate towards attaining U.N. Sustainable Development Goal No. 4, the Asia Caribbean Open Institute - the educational advocacy of the Caribbean ASEAN Council, sincerely likes to thank Dr. Bruce Veldhuisen, President of the Paris University of International Education, for establishing a partnership with our Institute to be able to offer expanded post-graduate programs.

The Paris University of International Education (PUIE) is recognized by the Rector of the Ile-de-France, the educational authority for Paris, and authorized by the French Ministry of National Education to grant higher education degrees.

Datu Sadja Dr. Matthew Pajares Yngson, our Advisory Board Chair and Provost ad interim, was able to meet Dr. Veldhuisen during his recent vacation in the Philippines.

Dr. Veldhuisen has more than thirty years of experience in international education and we are extremely grateful for this collaboration.

Beginning this May 2024, the Institute through our autonomous Akademie für Hochschulbildung will be offering dual-degrees (authorized in Switzerland, France, and the United Kingdom) in the following online programs:
