We are delighted to welcome Viola Faculty Diyang Mei back to MingClassics for the second time.

Internationally renowned violist Diyang Mei is one of the most active and sought-after viola artists of today. In 2018, he won First Prize at the Internationaler Musikwettbewerb der ARD, launching his international career. He was appointed Principal Viola of the Münchner Philharmoniker in 2019, and in 2022 joined the Berliner Philharmoniker in the same position.
Alongside his performing career, he serves as Guest Professor at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, mentoring the next generation of young violists.

We are delighted to welcome Sungsic Yang to MingClassics 2026.
He won First Prize at the Carl Flesch International Violin Competition in London and also received awards at the Paganini, Long-Thibaud, and Indianapolis International Violin Competitions. He studied at the Paris Conservatory and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
As a soloist, he has collaborated with distinguished orchestras under renowned conductors including Lorin Maazel, Yehudi Menuhin, and Dmitri Kitayenko.
He has performed extensively on international stages and mentored many young violinists of the new generation.
