Finishing Touch for Teens is our brand new Swiss ‘finishing’ style course where girls aged 16 – 19 will learn the personal and interpersonal skills to thrive socially and to succeed in their chosen endeavours.

In this one-day intensive course the young ladies will learn:

✨How to make a great first impression;
✨Dining etiquette (see below for more details);
✨Meeting, greeting and building rapport (also how to exit a conversation politely and firmly!)
✨Elevating speech;
✨Elegant deportment, including sitting, standing, walking, entering and exiting a room with grace and poise;
✨Making friends and strengthening relationships;
✨Written correspondence;
✨Social media and digital communication;
✨Personal image, including elevating and adding elegance to our appearance, and how to be appropriately dressed for the occasion;
✨Personal grooming and care.

This course is designed to be engaging and fully interactive, with the young ladies learning, practising and refining their new skills all together throughout the day.

Our popular Dining Etiquette for Teens workshop is built into this intensive day training. As with the other lessons of the day, the young ladies will learn by doing in this fully interactive course. We will sit together at a beautifully set table, and enjoy a four-course meal prepared and served by our chef.

The teens will learn by doing in this fully interactive course. Participants will sit together at a beautifully set table, and enjoy a four-course meal prepared and served by our chef.

We are pleased to announce the new Young Diplomats' Club starting up in Genthod on Wednesday afternoons.

The Young Diplomats' Club is a group etiquette class which aims to build confidence in children by teaching them correct social and dining etiquette in a supportive and encouraging environment. It is empowering when we know the correct way of doing things and the reasons for doing them.

As well as the very practical side of the curriculum, the idea is for children to be empowered as they learn the principles of successful interactions with others and how to apply these principles in various social situations.

Children aged 6 - 12 years are invited each Wednesday afternoon from 2.30pm - 3.10pm. The fun and interactive lessons are packed with useful how-to on dining etiquette and social skills, including:
~ How to be a good host and good guest
~ How and when to introduce yourself and your friends
~ Bringing self-confidence to social interactions
~ Dining etiquette and table manners for home and public

Classes are chf 35 per child per lesson. They take place in Genthod.
