La Nouvelle Ecole - Genève/Paris

This month in English Club, our ocean theme took on a special focus: protecting our seas. Over four weeks, the children created a collaborative mural—painting ocean blues, adding seaweed and the seafloor, and finishing with their own fish and bubble chains. Through stories and songs, we explored ocean life and learned simple but important habits, like putting rubbish in the bin so it doesn’t harm marine animals. A creative project with an important message 💙🐟

In Geneva, the children enjoyed a fantastic outing at Parc La Grange where we explored the beautiful rose garden, played at the amazing playground, and shared a lovely picnic together. So much fun and laughter all around!
Back at school, we continued our Swiss discoveries with a special workshop led by Chef Vincent, learning all about Swiss milk products 🇨🇭🧀🥛 From cheese and yogurt to butter and more, the children explored the delicious traditions connected to our new theme: Switzerland.
A day filled with learning, curiosity, exploration, and joyful moments together. We love getting out into our neighborhood and discovering the beautiful country we are lucky to call home ❤️

🐝✨ What a buzz-worthy day! ✨🐝
As part of our insect theme, we organized a special school outing yesterday all about bees!
In the morning, we visited the Jardin Alpin Botanique, where the children had the chance to observe real beehives. We also enjoyed a lovely picnic and some free play time surrounded by nature. We also had the chance to say hi to the goats and the chickens. And the frogs in the pond!
In the afternoon, back at school, we welcomed the Fondation Arche des Abeilles for an engaging presentation. The children learned so much about the essential role bees play in our ecosystem and they were incredibly curious, asking lots of clever and thoughtful questions throughout!

What a wonderful week we shared at our holiday camp in Geneva last week! 🌿✨
