Here are the criteria in a nutshell:
-only researchers endorsed and nominated by an IACFS member centre are eligible (the applicant does not necessarily need to be affiliated)
-age limit: 35 years at the time of submitting the application
-8,000-10,000 words
-original work written in English
-unpublished, submitted for publication, or published within the past twelve months
