Jeff and Gabi welcome the Austrian trip winners to the Cumbria manufacturing facility

Looking forward to welcoming Gabi Filip and the PartyLite Österreich Trip winners to Cumbria on Thursday this week.

We have recently installed an in-line weight check machine in our European Distribution Centre. Aimed at improving customer satisfaction through improved order accuracy, each order is weighed and checked to ensure it is within the permitted weight tolerance. Extensive testing is now underway to maximise the benefits from this new investment.

We are very happy to announce that Jeff Wall is promoted to the position of Manufacturing Director for the Cumbria facility effective 1st January 2014.

Jeff joined PartyLite 14 years ago as a Process Engineer and has since acquired extensive experience working in leadership roles in Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Operations and most recently as Director of European Quality Assurance and Product Development.

Jeff, with his proven track record, a passion for people and process development and the motivation and drive to be successful make him the ideal candidate for this position.

Congratulations on your promotion Jeff, we wish you every success in your new role.

Gary Rushworth has taken the difficult decision to leave his position of Director of Manufacturing in Cumbria due to personal reasons effective 23rd December 2013.

During Gary’s tenure, he has made a significant contribution to the development and growth of the manufacturing facility and many of the individuals within. In particular his passion for Lean has been at the forefront of Cumbria’s Continuous Improvement initiatives delivering significant savings over the last few years.

Gary has also shown great enthusiasm and pride when welcoming many of our consultant and leaders for a guided tour of the facility as trip winners.

After more than 15 years of loyal service, Gary is taking the opportunity to spend more time with his family and we thank him for his dedication and commitment over the years and we wish him good health, happiness and success in the future.
