📝Forget the ‘barbarian hordes’ sweeping across the land. A new study, conducted by German and Swiss scientists including Prof. Daniel Wegmann from the Department of Biology sheds new light on the matter.

🧬By analysing 258 genomes from the Early Middle Ages, the reality is more nuanced: no massive invasion, but a gradual mixing of peoples, shaping our DNA and our families right up to the present day.
