Discipline brought me far & yet I believe it’s fair to say this isn’t what I would recommend.

Growing up there was this idea that as soon as we put in the work, there will be a result.

Of course this also meant that if you have not the result you wanted, you simply didn’t put enough effort. Blaming myself was normal.

This mindset brought me into a constant hustle to get things done. It’s also the mindset that all depends on me.

Now we have outside factors such as environment, people… that we cannot control. Unfortunately to lay back & relax, trusting that I did what I could wasn’t an option.

Next was of course the negative self-talk and the spiral ended with the belief of “ I‘m not good enough“ else it would have worked.

Over the years this made me so tired that I was giving up. I had zero patience. Zero trust in myself. I had to let go.

Knowing and understanding our beliefs, values is key to stop this pattern. I had to let go what isn’t in my control.

My key take aways are: put in the work, have the vision & then let go, relax until you see the fruits. It’s not a giving up. It’s an understanding that it’s not only depending on you. Trust & practice patience.

Can you relate to the hustler mentality? 👇🏻

Here is a question answered that I got beginning of the week:
I‘d say stop blaming yourself for the situation. Not trusting your emotions & not being able to speak up for yourself is actually real hard.

How do you express anything, if you don’t know how love feels?

One thing I‘ve learned over time is that this question cannot be answered the way you‘ve been taught: the mind. Obsessively thinking your way through (strategies a-z) is creating more chaos simply because the mind cannot make any sense of love.

Know that your thoughts are not who you are. What you have learned once, can be unlearned.

I know how difficult it is to trust your gut, when you have no idea how to do that. Here is the thing: the mind tells you that you need a plan. While in actuality you need to sit in stillness and just feel. This can feel very uncomfortable, not to worry it’s normal in the beginning of this process.

Practice every morning, 5‘ to sit with yourself. Ask the question of how you feel & get to know yourself. Focus on your breathing …

You know that an emotion comes from a place of love when:

-It makes you smile from your belly
-it’s peaceful & balanced
-your truth makes you happy not others

Be careful or even take a step back when you feel this:

-you feel fear or strong limitations
-the idea of you need to hold back

Fear is not a good or trustworthy emotion for any decision. This requires your attention. In order to heal and transform your fear/anger/frustration (any heavy emotion that shows up is by the way valid) you go through the pain and ask questions like:

-why do I feel this way?
-when have I experienced this already?
-is this a inner child wound?

Start to journal. Question your mind. Don’t just take it for correct. Mostly your thoughts are fear based. That can be transformed from within.

Once you get to know yourself, you‘ll be able to share how you feel with others. Take your time. Relax & know that you are good the way you are. There is nothing wrong with you. You are learning & that’s actually really cool. Appreciate the work you do for yourself.

💜I hope this helped

Much Love,
Patricia

Do you know how you recharge your energy?

Let me tell you what this means for me & how I practice this:

This is where I practice alone time. No talk. No work. No phone. Stillness. It’s how I calm my nervous system to relax. It’s a mandatory practice for me to understand and heal my body from the outer world. Going inwards & listen is so important. Listen to your thoughts & feelings: Is there anything you need to take action?

I was a nervous wreck for most of my life, always worried, worst case scenarios in my head of what could go wrong I needed to calm down…

As a child it was brutal. I couldn’t sleep.

I was operating from my mind only. This caused me a lot of suffering. My “monkey mind“ kept chatting and arguing, feeding my anxiety 24/7. This had to stop & since then I learned to heal my body. To accept myself. To feel my pain body. I could let go. It was hard at first.

This can not be done while being with others.
I prefer alone time when I need to relax and this means having strong boundaries.

Sometimes I get asked, why I don’t want to see them. It’s not personal. It’s mandatory for me to feel in peace. It’s a need that only I can complete.

When I‘m with people I‘d like to give them my full presence. That’s where we have a real good time.

I learned hard, that going against this, is not in my favor. Learn to say “no“, even when you feel an urge to relax & recharge.

👉🏼Speaking up for yourself with confidence was always my goal & this is what I teach my clients. If you are looking for practical and hands on work than I‘m your coach.

The victim mentality:

This was a real trap for me. I’ve believed the stories in my head. I’ve believed my feelings around it & to really be clear I’ve searched for confirmation wherever I went. This prevented me to look out for change.

So waking up to my own creations really sucked. Facing my stories & understanding what I was doing for a long time was hard. I‘ve convinced myself that this was my life, which is why I felt nothing can change.

To be fair here I learned a lot it this period - until now. Even a coach has bullet points to work on ;)

I wasn’t ready to do anything more then complaining & yes sometimes that feels good (temporary).

To heal this tough, it’s not recommended… 😜 don’t forget to laugh on the way. It helps your body to calm down & relax.

👉🏼 If you behave, feel & believe these stories, it will continue & u won’t recover from it. I know, it‘s not fun 😅

My promise is: you can recover. It needs only time. If I feel like in a constant loop, repeating same in life over and over that’s where you can catch it. Change is right there by choosing yourself this time.

Here is what I do:
1. I journal and write down how I feel, while only giving myself around 10‘ to not get stuck in that sadness… I create space for anything that needs to come up from within.

2. Next, I start to observe, searching for truths & weather that’s only true for me or if all others experience the same story… now please check this in a broader perspective.
3. is an important one: acknowledge how you feel. It’s valid even if you are done with feeling that way.

4. In this step we search for opportunities & while asking questions we seek for internal answers: What can I do to step out of this loop? What people do I rather step away from? How could I catch myself next time? ( all questions that help you to motivate yourself)
5. All of above shall be as judgmental free as you can. If you realize you do. Let it arise, observe, let go.
6. Make a daily plan of ur actions. That can be super small such as 5‘. 😊Let’s create a new routine 💜
7. REPEAT;)

👉🏼Let me know in the comments “ 4. What other supportive questions can be used? Or what supports you in that moment?“
