The alum featured is Dr. Nida Maqbool, Associate Professor at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Pakistan. Additionally, Sandec's two new research leaders, Dr. George Wainaina and Dr. Karin Gallandat, introduce their research groups, Organisational Dynamics and Climate Adaptation (O&C) and Public Health, and Infrastructure, and Climate (PHIC).
