Hi, my name is Sam and I am a teacher and assessor specialising in dyslexia and learning differences. During the long summer holidays, children can often benefit from keeping their learning active. I am available to work with children and revise academic skills in a fun and friendly environment.
I organise small camps that combine individualised learning programmes, creative activities and outdoor fun.

I run small learning camps that are aimed to boost reading, writing, spelling and numeracy skills and teach strategies for independent learning. Activities are multi-sensory and engaging, and include:
• Reading techniques for fluency and understanding
• Templates to support writing for different purposes
• Strategies to remember regular and irregular spellings
• Number fluency and revision of specific topics
Craft activities such as fabric painting, glass and rock painting, up-cycling, cooking and much more are woven into the days, as well as outdoor activities in the surrounding countryside.
