Be all you can be! The youngest and perhaps more ambitious boarding school in 🇨🇭 Welcome to Le Régent International School!

Founded in 2015, Le Régent (regentschool.ch) is a Swiss boarding and day school with an international academic programme. Its modern campus in the heart of the Valais Alps in the stunning ski resort of Crans-Montana is designed for up to 300 students from Switzerland and around the world. Le Régent follows a rigorous academic programme in English in preparation for the International Baccalaureate

(IB) Diploma Programme while nurturing the individual talents of each student with its diverse extracurricular offering, including sports, arts, music and mountain activities. We want our pupils to leave school imbued with solid values, a better understanding of who they are and a sense of belonging. At Le Régent, students are urged to make the very most of their working and leisure time. Children are treated as individuals, provided with ongoing support by a hand-picked team of experienced teachers, class tutors and directors who expect each student to reach his or her true academic potential and achieve well in all areas of school life. We not only deliver a broad and well-balanced curriculum, but we also promote character education, bringing the best out of our pupils. Le Régent has been under the guidance of Institut Le Rosey (rosey.ch) since August 2019.

At Le Régent, this idea resonates deeply with our h³ values, reminding us that agility, resilience and courage are part of every meaningful educational journey.

This weekend, Le Régent Surprise Sailing Team will take part in the iconic Bol d'Or du Léman, one of the world’s largest inland lake regattas.

Aboard CUST 1, our Senior School students will spend nearly 24 hours on Lake Geneva with skipper Valérie Savoy, learning from the wind, the water, the currents, the night, and each other.

They will practise patience, strategy, focus and trust, and discover the quiet intelligence that only comes when a team truly becomes a crew.

There are lessons that do not happen in a classroom.

We wish them fair winds, clear minds and strong hearts as they represent Le Régent on this remarkable International School Sailing Championship.

Two years ago, we started a project: to build a team of students capable of overcoming every challenge we might face on the road. 🏎️

What advice would you give your younger self?

We asked leading entrepreneurs from London during our Rising Gen Lab. Their answers offer honest reflections, bold thinking, and lessons learned along the way.

🔹Carolina Cascas Forga, Founders of Sangha Capital, gave the students an inside look at what it means to be early-stage fund managers, emphasizing the importance of relationships, perseverance, and believing that anything is possible.

🔹Alexander Tayler, CEO at Dyad, captivated the students as he shared his comprehensive blueprint for building a successful startup, highlighting resilience, innovation, and the courage to embrace bold ideas.

🔹Brennan Ong, CEO of Law Advisor Ventures, inspired the students with his vision to make justice more accessible by transforming legal services through technology.

As we begin a new term, we look back on some of the highlights from this winter season.

One particularly special day was spent with our school ambassador, World Cup Skier, MARC ROCHAT on the slopes and beyond. Students had the opportunity to learn directly from his experience, gaining insight into the discipline, mindset and daily life of a professional athlete.

From training together to sharing a relaxed lunch, it was a moment that perfectly captured the spirit of life at Le Régent: learning through experience and connection.
