Be all you can be! The youngest and perhaps more ambitious boarding school in 🇨🇭 Welcome to Le Régent International School!

Founded in 2015, Le Régent (regentschool.ch) is a Swiss boarding and day school with an international academic programme. Its modern campus in the heart of the Valais Alps in the stunning ski resort of Crans-Montana is designed for up to 300 students from Switzerland and around the world. Le Régent follows a rigorous academic programme in English in preparation for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme while nurturing the individual talents of each student with its diverse extracurricular offering, including sports, arts, music and mountain activities. We want our pupils to leave school imbued with solid values, a better understanding of who they are and a sense of belonging. At Le Régent, students are urged to make the very most of their working and leisure time. Children are treated as individuals, provided with ongoing support by a hand-picked team of experienced teachers, class tutors and directors who expect each student to reach his or her true academic potential and achieve well in all areas of school life. We not only deliver a broad and well-balanced curriculum, but we also promote character education, bringing the best out of our pupils. Le Régent has been under the guidance of Institut Le Rosey (rosey.ch) since August 2019.

Together for a better world.
Le Régent is proud to take part in a project led by world-renowned photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, invited to Crans Montana by the Fondation OPALE. Portraits of people from across Valais will be showcased in a public exhibition and a book.
A dozen of our students, representing the 5 continents and 55 nationalities of our school, are part of it.
Our message: a school that empowers its students to build a better world.

4 students took part in a Trail run to earn points for their Family and also train for the next trail race.
Traversing the famous Bisse Du Ro before climbing 1200m to the Col du Pochet and Bella Lui summits. Running 11 km in total.

Lots of points for Cervus and Aquilae thanks to the 4 students who took part.

A great start to the competitive season for Le Régent!

On 17 September, 14 of our students took part in the season’s opening golf competition at Golf Club de Sion, alongside almost 100 players from international schools across Switzerland. All our golfers finished within roughly the top 30, a strong start for our growing golf programme.

The next day, our Grade 7 and 8 boys competed against Aiglon, La Garenne and La Côte in a Category C football tournament at Aiglon College, and finished the day as winners!

Well done to all our students for their teamwork, commitment and enthusiasm!

We lived the Community Hike, and what a day!

Cable car up to Cry d’Er, panoramic views, a well-earned break at Chetzeron, then a walk down to Crans via Merbé, students and staff side by side.

More than a hike, it was a moment of togetherness: walking, catching our breath and taking in the view, all together.

A memorable evening in Bodrum, bringing together families, educators, current students, parents, alumni and friends of Le Régent to celebrate our vision of education, one where academic ambition goes hand in hand with personal growth, creativity and a strong sense of belonging.

We were especially honoured to welcome Professor Devrim Erbil, Turkey’s State Artist and one of the country’s most celebrated contemporary painters, as our Guest of Honour.

During the evening, Professor Erbil received the Lifetime Contribution to Education and the Arts Award, recognising his lifelong dedication to education, culture and the arts.

Our sincere thanks to our partners for organising such a wonderful event, and to all the families and friends of Le Régent who joined us. We are particularly grateful for the warm welcome we received in Bodrum and for the opportunity to spend this time together.

“We cannot change the wind, but we can adjust the sails,” says Swiss sailor Alan Roura.

At Le Régent, this idea resonates deeply with our h³ values, reminding us that agility, resilience and courage are part of every meaningful educational journey.

This weekend, Le Régent Surprise Sailing Team will take part in the iconic Bol d'Or du Léman, one of the world’s largest inland lake regattas.

Aboard CUST 1, our Senior School students will spend nearly 24 hours on Lake Geneva with skipper Valérie Savoy, learning from the wind, the water, the currents, the night, and each other.

They will practise patience, strategy, focus and trust, and discover the quiet intelligence that only comes when a team truly becomes a crew.

There are lessons that do not happen in a classroom.

We wish them fair winds, clear minds and strong hearts as they represent Le Régent on this remarkable International School Sailing Championship.
