What happens when our CEO and Dean swap formal speeches for fun questions and honest conversations? 👀

Last week, Markus Venzin and Achim Schmitt joined our students for Unplugged with CEO & Dean, hosted by Student Council President Luna Bleuel!

🎤 From introducing each other in just five sentences to a hilarious round of “Who's most likely to?” and some unexpected personal questions, students got to discover a whole different side of our leadership.

🔄 The conversation also turned to what's next for EHL, as Achim prepares to take over from Markus as CEO of EHL Group in January 2027.

💬 No slides, no formal speeches, just a relaxed evening of questions, laughter and genuine exchanges between students and leadership.

In a world where technology can do more and more, the things that make us human are taking on a whole new value.

Our ability to connect with someone. To understand a different perspective. To adapt, build trust, bring people together and make them feel like they belong. 💫

At EHL, these moments are everywhere.

They happen when you find yourself working with people from all over the world. 🌍 When an experience pushes you outside your comfort zone. When something doesn’t go to plan and you have to find another way forward. And sometimes, simply in the conversations and connections that change the way you see things. 👐

Over time, those moments shape more than what you know. They shape how you work with others, how you lead and who you become. 🚀

It’s something that has been part of the EHL experience since 1893, and something we believe will matter even more in the future.
