Aim of the Stellarium Gornergrat
The astronomical observatory of the Gornergrat will provide the Swiss education community and the public with a remote-controlled professional observatory in one of the most iconic places in Switzerland. Due to his high altitude at 3135 MASL, the Gornergrat, above Zermatt, is one of the best sites for astronomical observations in Switzerland – dry and clean air, rather favorable meteorological conditions and the absence of artificial lights characterize him.
