So sieht ein typischer Arbeitstag in der Orthoptik aus – zumindest in einer klassischen Praxis- oder Klinikumgebung. Der Berufsalltag ist vielseitig und abwechslungsreich.

Doch das ist längst nicht alles, was die Orthoptik zu bieten hat. Neben der Arbeit in Praxis und Klinik gibt es zahlreiche weitere Einsatzgebiete, zum Beispiel in der Rehabilitation, im Bereich Low Vision, in der Frühförderung von Kindern mit Sehbeeinträchtigungen oder in der Lehre und Ausbildung.

Orthoptik ist ein spannendes Berufsfeld mit vielen Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten – und jede dieser Aufgaben trägt dazu bei, Menschen in ihrem Sehvermögen und ihrer Lebensqualität zu unterstützen. 🩷

Voici à quoi ressemble une journée type en orthoptie – du moins dans un cabinet ou un service hospitalier classique. Le quotidien professionnel est varié et enrichissant.

Mais l’orthoptie ne se limite pas à cela. En plus du travail en cabinet et à l’hôpital, il existe de nombreux autres domaines d’activité, comme la rééducation visuelle, la basse vision (low vision), l’intervention précoce auprès d’enfants présentant une déficience visuelle ou encore l’enseignement et la formation.

L’orthoptie est une profession passionnante offrant de nombreuses perspectives d’évolution. Chacune de ces missions contribue à améliorer la vision et la qualité de vie des personnes accompagnées. 🩷

This is what a typical day in orthoptics looks like – at least in a traditional clinic or hospital setting. The profession is diverse and varied.

But orthoptics offers much more than that. In addition to working in clinics and hospitals, orthoptists can pursue a wide range of career paths, including vision rehabilitation, low vision services, early intervention for children with visual impairments, as well as teaching and training.

Orthoptics is an exciting profession with many opportunities for growth and development. Every role contributes to improving people's vision and enhancing their quality of life. 🩷

𝗥𝘂̈𝗰𝗸𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝘂𝗳 𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
Am 27. März 2026 fand in Bern die Generalversammlung von Swiss Orthoptics statt. Im Anschluss an den offiziellen Teil erwarteten die Teilnehmenden spannende Fachvorträge zum Thema Cerebral Visual Impairment / visuelle Verarbeitungs- und Wahrnehmungsstörungen sowie zur Ausbildung in der Praxis.

Der Anlass klang bei einem gemütlichen Apéro aus, der Raum für anregende Gespräche und wertvollen fachlichen Austausch bot.

𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿 𝗹’𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲‌𝗲 𝗴𝗲‌𝗻𝗲‌𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Le 27 mars 2026, l’assemblée générale de Swiss Orthoptics s’est tenue à Berne. À l’issue de la partie officielle, les participant·e·s ont assisté à des conférences spécialisées passionnantes portant sur le Cerebral Visual Impairment / les troubles du traitement et de la perception visuelle, ainsi que sur la formation des étudiants dans les cabinets ophtalmologiques.

L’événement s’est conclu par un apéritif convivial, offrant un cadre propice à des échanges enrichissants et à des discussions professionnelles de qualité.
