🍊🌍 A Taste of Africa in Playgroup! 🐘🦒

As part of our African Animals project, we explored Handa’s Surprise! 📖

We touched, smelled and tasted the exotic fruits from the story, describing them as bumpy, rough, spiky and smooth. 🍍🥭🍌

We completed a fruit taste survey and played a blindfolded tasting game, guessing which fruit we were eating! 👅

Then we retold the story with picture cards and finished with an energetic animal movement game — stomping, stretching and moving like African animals! 🐘🦒🦓

Learning through stories, senses, movement and play!

🦒🐘 Wild About African Animals! 🦁🌿

Our playgroup classroom came alive with the sights, sounds and adventures of the African savannah! 🌍✨

As part of our African Animals project, we read lots of wonderful stories about life on the savannah, stretched tall like giraffes, stomped like elephants and enjoyed a fun safari yoga adventure! 🧘‍♀️

Through creative crafts, songs and imaginative play, we became explorers, animals and safari adventurers, discovering the fascinating world of Africa through play and creativity.🐾🎶

What a wild and wonderful adventure it has been! 💛

🏙️✨ Reaching new heights in our classroom! ✨

Our young architects have been exploring the incredible Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world! The children discovered fascinating facts, created informative posters, and then put their creativity and teamwork to the test.

Using recyclable materials, spaghetti, and marshmallows, they designed and built their own towering structures. It was wonderful to see their imagination, problem-solving, and engineering skills in action!

Who knew spaghetti and marshmallows could build such amazing skyscrapers? 🌟🏗️

🌴 Messages from Our Island Adventure

Our Reading & Writing class has been diving into *Kensuke's Kingdom*, bringing the story to life through creativity and imagination.

As part of their project, students crafted a beautiful island and wrote heartfelt messages in a bottle, inspired by the themes of adventure, survival, and hope found in the novel.

We are so proud of their thoughtful work and the creativity they have shown throughout this journey! 🌴📚📝✨
