Have you always wanted to learn to dance tango? Then now is the perfect moment: in this course you’ll step into the world of Argentine tango for the very first time, no experience needed. You’ll learn the fundamental elements of tango — the embrace, the shared step, the connection to the music — and how to move in harmony on the dance floor.

✨ No previous experience needed
✨ No dance partner needed — just come as you are

📅 Starting Wednesday, August 12
🕕 Every week, 18:15 – 19:15
📍 Luna Negra Bern – Tango school, Zentweg 17a, 3006 Bern

The course is taught by Elena & Paolo, two certified Argentine tango teachers with international experience as dancers and educators. It matters to them that you feel at ease from the very first minute — tango isn’t a question of talent, but of the joy of movement and connection.

In this workshop we will use simple yoga postures to strengthen the body and improve alignment. We will work with postures that allow us to become more aware of our body’s connections and movements, helping us improve our tango technique: axis, stability, twists, pivots and appropriate use of base leg and free leg.The workshop will have two parts: the first focused on yoga postures, and the second on tango technique.

Agustina Morbiducci is a tango dancer and teacher. She has also been a student of the Iyengar Yoga method for 10 years and is currently working towards becoming a certified teacher in that method. The wonderful influence that the regular practice of Iyengar Yoga had on her dance inspired her to create this workshop.
