Have you ever experienced wanting to say no but struggling to assert your boundary?

So you end up saying yes and maybe taking on extra work which over time takes your energy away.

Sometimes this yes is an automatic reaction that is there to keep you safe from conflict, to be seen as the good one, the reliable one or maybe a way to avoid disappointing the other person.

By creating a little space before answering, you can allow yourself to reconnect with what you truly want to answer and find a way to express your boundary.

To create that little space, you might try saying: “Let me check my current capacity and get back to you.”

That pause creates space for your nervous system to settle. Space to feel what’s actually feasible. Space to choose instead of react.

Of course, the phrase is just the beginning.

The deeper work is exploring what’s behind that automatic yes and finding what helps you respond in a way that honours your boundaries - in your own way, at your own pace.

This is what we explore in coaching.

I have 4 spots available in February. DM me “ready”. 🤍

Do you ever notice how hard it is to slow down … even when you’re exhausted ?

For many caring people, rest doesn’t come so easily. Maybe you learned early on that slowing down looked like being lazy. Maybe that it meant being unproductive. Or that rest had to be earned.

And now, when you finally pause, it doesn’t feel peaceful- but instead it feels uncomfortable, guilty or unfamiliar.

You might think, I should be doing something more useful instead…
But resting isn’t being lazy.
It’s your body asking for what it needs to come back to balance.

If parts of you know you need rest, but something inside resist it, you may want to start gently.

First noticing what rest feels like for you. Does it create calm? Tension? Guilt? Uneasy feeling? Just noticing without judging yourself.

And instead of forcing long breaks, you might begin with micro breaks.
A slow breath
A moment of stillness
A warm drink without multitasking

It’s a way to show yourself that it’s ok to slow down. That rest isn’t something you have to earn.
It’s simply how you return to yourself.

If this resonates and you’d like support in exploring this together, I have some coaching spots open in December.
You’re welcome to reach out or DM me 🤍

Do you catch yourself over-explaining…trying to make sure you’re being understood…but this drains the energy out of you?

You maybe notice it when you write emails, talk in meetings, or with colleagues and friends. That pull to clarify, justify, make sure people get you right.

Often over explaining is our system trying to meet a deeper need…to feel seen, understood, safe.
But no matter how much you explain, you cannot control how others react. And that can leave you so exhausted. You feel it in your body and mind, maybe a physical tension and looping thoughts that replay conversations.

What might it reveal to notice the overexplaining?
What could it look like to honour your needs without having to over explain?

This is the kind of experience we explore in coaching - noticing the pattern, understanding what’s driving it, and exploring ways to help you honour your needs while remaining true to yourself.

If this resonate and you need support on this journey, I have November coaching spots available. You’re welcome to reach out. 🌟

Monday morning and you already know how this will go.

The pattern feels so familiar to you … the yes when you mean no, the silence in meetings, the exhaustion by Friday.

And the hardest part? Seeing the cycle repeating and not understanding why you can’t seem to break it.

You’ve tried. You’ve told yourself « this week will be different » But these patterns don’t shift through willpower alone ~ because they often run deeper than conscious choice.

This is the work we explore in coaching. Not forcing change, but understanding what’s driving these patterns so we can create sustainable changes.

I have November spots available.
If you’re exhausted by the cycle, feel free to send me a message. 💫

Sometimes your voice disappears when you most want to speak - and it can leave you wondering why you didn’t say what mattered.

Over time this can lead to feeling like you’re not fully expressing your truth, to witness your boundaries being stepped over.

This can look like accepting these extra tasks at work when your plate is already full, which can lead you to feel exhausted and on edge. Or holding back from expressing your thoughts and ideas when you wish to.

In coaching we explore your experience and explore ways you can reconnect with your voice, your boundaries and capacity to express it - at your own pace, and in a way that is authentic to you.

🍀If you’d like support saying no without guilt and speaking up with more confidence, feel free to DM me or book a free discovery call.

How did the PAUSE moment feel for you?

For some it may be a sense of relief. For others, it may feel like it’s impossible to slow down. And whatever you are experiencing, it’s valid.

Because from that space of noticing, we can observe and explore your experience together. This is how in coaching we find practices that feel sustainable and aligned for you.

If you need support, feel free to send me a message. I’m here for you.

Do you find yourself adjusting for others… sometimes forgetting your own needs and authentic expression?

When you get curious about these patterns, you can start to shift them.

You don’t have to change everything at once, even pausing to see what’s happening inside of you is meaningful.

Changes can happen in your own rhythm, in your tempo, in a way that feels right for you.

✨ If you need support in exploring these patterns and how to show up in a way that honours both yourself and others, I’m here. In your own way and at your own pace.

That “I’m fine” smile can hide so much.

Sometimes it’s easier to hold it in, care for others, rather than risk feeling like a burden.

But your inner world matters too.

In coaching, we make space for both: the part that cares deeply for others, and the part of you that longs to be supported too.

If you’re curious, my inbox is open. 💛
