🚨 New Epi Alert this week: the Bundibugyo virus outbreak in the DRC has reached 5,290 confirmed cases and 2,516 deaths, while Uganda has declared its outbreak over.

In Europe, a suspected fatal case of respiratory diphtheria was reported in Italy and 21 measles cases were linked to a folk festival in Sweden. Elsewhere, Peru reports 42,000 dengue cases, while the US reports a multistate foodborne outbreak and two A(H1N2)v influenza cases linked to ill swine. https://ow.ly/9HJm50Y3Qs0
