A wonderful addition to the Féchy community! 👏🏻

On Friday, we were delighted to attend the inauguration of Féchy’s new ludico-sportive playground, alongside local and cantonal authorities. Designed as a welcoming space for play, recreation, and connection, this new area is open and accessible to all children and families.

It was inspiring to see so many community members come together to celebrate this new gathering place. We are proud to support initiatives that encourage wellbeing, inclusion, and active lifestyles, while creating more opportunities for children to learn, play, and grow together in our beautiful La Côte region.

Exciting campus developments are underway at LCIS this summer ✨

Several areas of our campus are being redesigned to further enrich students’ daily experience. Our library is being transformed into a calm and inspiring environment for reading and independent learning, while outdoor playground spaces are being refreshed to encourage creativity, movement, and collaboration.

These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to creating spaces where students can flourish academically, socially, and personally.

We are pleased to share an exciting development at La Côte International School: the creation of a new leadership role, Director of Innovation.

From August 2026, Mrs Newell - already a long-standing and highly valued member of our community - will take on this position, leading the continued evolution of teaching and learning across the school.

This new role reflects our commitment to ensuring students are truly future ready, with a strong focus on developing the skills AI cannot replace, alongside a thoughtful and responsible approach to emerging technologies.

With extensive experience across academic leadership, pastoral care, and STEAM education, Mrs Newell is ideally placed to shape this next chapter of innovation at LCIS.
