Quaid-e-Azam Day is celebrated on December 25 to commemorate the birthday of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder and first governor-general of Pakistan. He's affectionately known as the "Great Leader" or "Baba-i-Quam," meaning the father of the nation.¹
Jinnah played a pivotal role in the creation of Pakistan, working tirelessly to ensure the rights and freedoms of Muslims in the subcontinent. He believed in the importance of a separate Muslim state, which ultimately led to the formation of Pakistan in 1947.
