📚 BOOK REVIEW 📚
The es**rt series
This series was written by a local duo affectionately known as Blondie and Brunette....and I've known Blondie for awhile now through other channels so was excited to read these when they first came out and I wasnt disappointed.
These Six books are about one women's life as she becomes an es**rt to provide for her brother after their parents died. I fell in love with River/Rose from the first book and loved most of the "men" throughout all 6 books while she finds her happily ever after.
This series has it all...Intrigue,, sexy men, lots of heat and a bit of mystery which will keep you turning the pages throughout all 6.
Definitely worth a read

📚BOOK REVIEW 📚
I read this one for my book club. It had mixed reviews but I quite enjoyed it.
Romance
Fantasy
Assassins
Mysterious creatures
This book had it all
Reeve and Kaan share an intense emotionally charged romance.
Reeve an assassin for an underground Rebellion who we first meet on a side job. She’s clearly been through a lot, but we don’t really know anything about her past. The land appears to be divided into three kingdoms with the three evil Vaegor brothers on each of the thrones. And of course, dragons are around, but seem to only be used for transportation, or by royalty and their courts.
Kaan now the King of the Burn, and not as evil as initially suspected by Raeve. In fact, he might be the perfect book boyfriend. I feel like I can’t say more without giving major spoilers, but you’ll like him.
The book ends on a cliffhanger, of course. But everything is definitely set up for a pretty epic book two, and I’m hoping we’ll get a lot more plot and worldbuilding. It’s such a cool world, it deserves it!

📚 BOOK REVIEW 📚
Five brothers
Well what can I say about this book??
I had seen this book alllll over the place and I got curious. But I didn't expect to like it as much as I did.
Firstly if you're into indie romance then this isn't one of those books where the main female has all the male leeds at once dispote what youve heard ....yes she did sleep with all five (seperately) at one point or another but this was more about the journey and growth these characters go through while she falls in love with one of them. He sees things about her that the others don't and she helps him in ways his brothers can't..... and I loved it!!
Krisjen stepped up to take care of her siblings when her parents weren’t. She also stepped up to take care of the Jaeger brothers (Macon, Irion, Dallas, Army and Trace) and learned all their secrets. The brothers didn’t like her at first since she was a Saint, from the rich side of town and they were from the swamp but once they got to know the real her, they were very protective of her.

📚 BOOK REVIEW 📚
I wasn't going to review this one but after reading it today (yes I read it in a day as we did alot of traveling today so had time lol) and pretty much needing a box of tissues I thought I had to.
Mia and Max met and hated each other but you could feel there was something, some attraction they both felt underneath.
Mia had just gone through something and was living on the streets after running away from domestic abuse. Max had also gone through a separation and was dealing with the fallout with his son so both were a little....hesitant about each other .
But slowly as they spent more time together they began to really see each other, to trust each other and as each of their stories came to light (you'll need the tissues) their love for one another grew.
This was a hard one to read at times so if you have triggers like domestic abuse it may not be for you but I loved it ....dispite the tears.
I'm off to read Yaz and Heath's story in Unworthy

📚 BOOK REVIEW📚
The Temptation kings series
Well I thought I'd wait until I read all four in this series before reviewing them so here you go .....one review for four books.
This series is about four brothers who all live within the Italian mafia amd the women who bring out their softer sides.
✨️ Ruthless kings
Is about Luca and Stella who was sold to him to pay a debt. Their story is filled with tension and longing. It is a lot lighter than other dark romances as the relationship between the two main characters is fun, flirty and full of teasing.
The tension of the slow burn was very well written which made the rest of the book so much more rewarding.
✨️ Savage kings
Dante and Rose are complete opposites. Dante is moody, scary, and a dangerous man, while Rose is vivacious, unpredictable, and a force of nature. But when Rose is stalked Dante steps up and protects her.
✨️Brutal kings
When Nico discovers his reason for revenge is all a lie its his obsession with Maisey that keeps him going. Having met because he kidnapped her I didn't think this would go well but he charmed hos way into her....and mine... hearts.
✨️Wicked kings
Marco and jia are strangers determined to hate each other even on their wedding day.
Marco is a pl***oy but Jai changes all that and always wants Jai to be her own women and reign over her own "company' never wanting to take her power away instead he stands beside her being her enforcer. This is a slow burn wirh lots of tension before the inevitable explosion.
All four of these books are interwoven so reading in order is a must and I loved the little cameos of the other brothers in each book. They each kept me so engrossed that I read the entire series in 2 weeks.....what else is annual leave for if jot for reading?

📚 BOOK REVIEW 📚
BIRTHDAY GIRL
I started this one last night with an aim to finishing it tomorrow night because today's my birthday and I thought it would be apt lol
Anyway like I said I finished it early because although it was slow at times and I wanted to hit some of the characters by the end of it I couldn't put it down.
I wasn't sure to begin with as it was about Jordan falling for her boyfriends dad, Pike. Who was twice her age. But there was no cheating involved and despite pretty much everyone being against them because of the age difference and who she started out as it all ends with a happy ever after....eventually.
Pike made Jordan feel relaxed and loved for being herself for the first time in a long time, while Jordan made Pike realise that love was out there waiting for him.
Yeah it was a bit of a slow burner but it has just a bit of added spice thrown in.
