🧡 Every Child Matters 🧡

Today we honoured Orange Shirt Day at Curious Munchkins. We talked about kindness, belonging and why every child is special, loved and valued.

Our little hands painted their own orange shirts with so much love. So proud of them.

🍂✨ Nature & Loose Parts ✨🦋

A simple fall invitation - dried leaves, wood slices, gems, butterflies & plates. No rules, just imagination.

They made mandalas, soups, butterfly gardens & so much more. 35 mins of pure, focused play! 🧡

Every child sees something different - that's the magic of loose parts.

🧱 BUILDING & ENGINEERING IN OUR DAYHOME 🧱

Building isn't just play - it's brain work!
Today our little architects were busy with open-ended building.

What they are learning:
✨ Problem-solving & persistence
✨ Balance, gravity & cause & effect
✨ Fine motor & hand-eye coordination
✨ Math - counting, height, symmetry
✨ Teamwork & creativity

When we give children loose parts, cups, and blocks, we give them space to think like engineers.
