Check out our new milkstand! All of our female goats took a turn on the new milkstand. They each got a chance to enjoy some tasty grain while being used to standing and being handled.

Mystery solved! Peanut is still not a jumper. Someone broke two pallets apart in the new oen creating a small gap that allowed all goats to pass through. It is highly likely that they broke when one of the Bruces used it as a springboard to jump over. We have patched it up but that section of fence clearly needs some work.

Soon. When Mrs. Daniel is feeling better. In the meantime all goats are meant to stay in the original pen. No new pen for now.

Mrs. Daniel is in bed sick when Mr. Daniel phones her. He was unloading some hay so we can pick up our last load tomorrow when all 6 of the goats decided to join him out back. Mrs. Daniel rallied and headed out to round them up. Its been a while since we had a mass escape but on the agenda for the weekend is some fence reinforcement and hopefully we will discover their escape route.

Coconut made a decision today.
I suspect she regretted it immediately.
Lucky for her, Mrs. Daniel was right there to rescue her or she may have been stuck for a while...
