for Amin Shah Alam
Amin Shah Alam was not just a headline.
He was a father. A refugee. A human being.
He survived persecution. He survived displacement.
But he did not survive neglect.
Being Rohingya is not a crime.
Being vulnerable is not a crime.
Being nearly blind and unable to speak English is not a crime.
Every human deserves dignity.
Every human deserves protection.
Every human deserves to go home safely.
We are not asking for special treatment.
We are asking for humanity.
Justice is not about politics.
It is about compassion.
It is about accountability.
It is about making sure no vulnerable person is left alone again.
🌍 The world must not stay silent.
🕊️ May his soul rest in peace.
⚖️ May truth and justice prevail.

As a persecuted Rohingya
To the United Nations, world leaders, and all those who speak of human rights
I have written this as a persecuted Rohingya who has lived through pain that words can barely describe. Today, as I see people in Africa being burned alive, my heart bleeds again because I know that pain. I have seen my own people burned, shot, and slaughtered in Myanmar simply for being Rohingya. I have seen babies thrown into the air, their tiny bodies cut to pieces before their mothers' eyes.
How long will the United Nations just look? How long will you count our dead, write your reports, and hold meetings while human beings are treated worse than animals?
You see the fires. You see the massacres. You issue statements. But still, we are suffering - in refugee camps, in fear, without a homeland, without justice, without hope.
We don't need sympathy. We need action real action. We need justice from the International Criminal Court, and we need immediate protection for every innocent life, whether in Africa or Arakan.
The world cannot keep silent while humans are burned alive. Every life matters African, Rohingya, Palestinian, or any other. If the UN truly stands for humanity, then prove it. Act now before more blood flows, before another generation is lost.
Please don't let history remember that the United Nations watched while we burned.
Sincerely,
A Persecuted Rohingya
.
