ITEC – 2025 featured the launch of two websites: one by Rashmika Srimal, a student at the University of Moratuwa, & another by our school A/L Tech Section students—Gimhan Rashmika & Anusara Isindu (https://ubwns.site), along with an exhibition of students’ innovative creations showcasing their talent and creativity.

Distinguished guests, Dr. K.M. Sandun Konara (Senior Lecturer, Department of Electrical and Information Engineering) and Mrs. K.M.O. Piyarathna (Deputy Director of Education – Planning), graced the occasion.

The Sinduwara Literary Festival, organized by the U.B. Wanninayaka National School Literary Association, was held on September 26, 2025—a day that truly celebrated the creative spirit of our school community.

The festival proudly marked the first launch of the Sinduwara Magazine, featuring poems, short stories, and other literary works created by both students and teachers. It was a platform where imagination met expression, and talent shone brightly.

​යූ. බී. වන්නිනායක ජාතික පාසල් සාහිත්‍ය සංගමය සහ පුස්තකාල පාඨක සමාජය එක්ව "පුනරුදයේ පුරවර" වැඩසටහන් මාලාවට සමගාමීව සංවිධානය කළ "කවිමඩුව" ඉතා සාර්ථකව පැවැත්වුණි.
​අනාගත පරපුරේ සිත්සතන් කාව්‍ය රසයෙන් පුබුදු කරවීමේ අරමුණින් පැවැත්වූ මෙම වැඩසටහන, සිසු දරු දැරියන්ට අමතක නොවන අත්දැකීමක් විය. කවි කිවිඳියන් සවනට මිහිරක් ගෙන දෙද්දී, මුළු සභා ගැබම නිසලව ඒ මිහිර විඳගත් අයුරු සැබැවින්ම සුන්දර දසුනක් විය.
​මෙම හරවත් වැඩසටහන සංවිධානය කිරීමට උරදුන් විදුහල්පතිතුමා ඇතුළු ගුරු මණ්ඩලයටත්, සහභාගී වූ සම්භාවනීය කලාකරුවන්ටත්, එය රසවිඳීමට එක්වූ අපගේ ආදරණීය දරුවන්ටත් හදපිරි ප්‍රණාමය!

The School Literary Association and Library Readers’ Club of U.B. Wanninayaka National School successfully organized “Kavi Maduwa” in parallel with the Punarudaye Purawara program series.

Held with the aim of nurturing the hearts of the younger generation with the beauty of poetry, this program became an unforgettable experience for our students.

As the voices of young poets carried melodies to the audience, the entire hall fell into silence, embracing the charm of every line — a truly enchanting scene. 🌿🎶
