In Islam, there is a supplication (dua) for everything. From dua for travel to dua for waking up in the morning, we have special supplications for almost everything in our daily lives. Through dua we seek Allah’s protection, blessings and strive for His pleasure. Listing some of these supplications below (and continuing in comments) *Dua for entering the home: اللهم إني أسألك خيرَ المولج، وخيرَ المخرج، بسم الله ولجنا، وبسم الله خرجنا، وعلى الله ربنا توكلنا. ثم يُسلِّم على أهله ‘Allahumma inni as’aluka khayr al-mawlaj wa khayr al-makhraj. Bismillaah walajna wa Bismillaah kharajna wa ‘ala Allahi rabbina tawakalna (O Allah, I ask You for the best entering and the best exiting. In the name of Allah we enter and in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah our Lord we put our trust), *Dua before eating /drinking: بسم الله Bismillah (In the name of Allah) *Dua when finishing eating/ drinking: الحمدلله الحمد لله الذي أطعمني هذا ورزقنيه من غير حولٍ مني ولا قوة Alhamdillah alathi at’amani hatha wa razaqneeh men ghayri hawlan minni wala quwa (Praise be to Allah Who has fed me with this food and provided me with it through no might and power on my part) *Dua when entering bathroom: (Enter with left foot) ‎اللَّهُـمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ allahumma innee aAAoothu bika minal-khubthi wal-khaba-ith (O Allah, I take refuge with you from all evil and evil-doers.) *Dua when exiting bathroom: (Exit with right foot) ‎غُفْرَانَكَ Ghufranak (O Allah) I seek forgiveness and pardon from You) Follow @remindthesoul - I’ll be posting all these duas in detail inshallah
