The festival features folk dancers, musicians, and artisans, promoting Uttarakhand's agriculture and horticulture products while emphasizing nature conservation.

Yusuf Hamied Chemistry Camp for the Students of 9th Class at Doon University in Collaboration with Royal Society of Chemistry, Cambridge, United Kingdom

The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), India and the Doon University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand are organising a three-day residential Yusuf Hamied Chemistry Camp for 9th Class students from February 14-16, 2024. Today the Inaugural ceremony was held in which Director, Indian Institute of Petroleum Dehradun was the Chief Guest. Chief Education Officer of Tehri Garhwal was also present. Nearly 71 students are participating in this camp from 43 schools from villages of Chamba, Naicholi, Moldhar, Nagni of Tehri Garwal district. The aim of the Chemistry Camp is to promote appreciation for chemistry by providing school students from diverse backgrounds, an opportunity to explore practical chemistry and inspire them to pursue chemistry at university and further. These chemistry camps are being organised as part of the RSC Yusuf Hamied Inspirational Science Programme hosted by the Doon University.
