Healing earth centre is a beautiful 12 acre piece of land adjoining a river in Central Portugal. It is situated in the municipality of Vale the Prazeres in a valley called ‘Vale de cortiςo’ (valley of the beehives) The intention is to create a permaculture/regenerative agriculture demonstration site, retreat place and natural living experience place.
The idea of the Healing earth centre originated from the thought that we as humans can play a role in healing the earth but vice versa the earth can heal us if we make the connection with nature again.

Healing earth centre is gevestigd op een prachtig stuk grond van 6 hectare aan een riviertje in midden Portugal. Het ligt in de gemeente Vale de Prazeres, in een vallei genaamd 'Vale de Cortiςo' (vallei van de bijenkorven) De bedoeling is om deze plek de komende jaren om te toveren in een permacultuur demonstratie boerderij, retraite plek en een ervaringsplaats voor natuurlijk wonen.
Het idee van het Healing Earth centre is ontstaan uit de gedachte dat wij als mensen, al is het nog zo beperkt, een rol kunnen spelen bij het herstellen van de aarde maar dat de aarde ook een helende werking kan hebben op ons mensen door opnieuw in verbinding te komen met de natuur.
