🌍 HAPPY WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY! 🌟

To Our Wonderful Teachers,

Today, I pause to celebrate you—
The hearts that shape tomorrow,
The voices that plant courage,
The hands that mould destinies anew.

You do more than teach lessons—
You light candles in young minds,
You turn questions into curiosity,
And dreams into direction.

Every chalk stroke, every late-night plan,
Every word of encouragement,
Every moment of patience and grace—
They are not forgotten.
They echo in the halls of time,
In the laughter, success, and gratitude of your students.

You are the quiet heroes behind every shining star,
The compass that points children to purpose,
The bridge between ignorance and insight.

Today, I honor you—
For your labour of love,
Your wisdom that never fades,
Your impact that never ends.

Thank you for teaching, guiding, inspiring, and believing—
Even when the world forgets how much that means.

💐 Happy World Teachers’ Day!
Your light keeps the world bright. ✨

*OPESUSI FAITH'S TRAGIC STORY - LESSONS FOR PARENTS AND CHILDREN*

The tragic story of Faith Opesusi Timileyin, the 19-year-old girl who took her own life after scoring 146 in the 2025 UTME, serves as a heartbreaking reminder of the pressures young people face and the crucial role parents play in providing emotional support. As we commiserate with her parents and loved ones, here are some lessons both parents and children can learn from this incident:

*LESSONS FOR PARENTS*
1. *Emotional Support Matters* – Parents must create a safe space where children feel comfortable expressing their fears, disappointments, and struggles. Faith reportedly did not open up about her distress, highlighting the need for open communication.
2. *Success is Not Defined by One Exam* – Parents should emphasize that academic results do not determine a child's worth or future. Encouraging resilience and alternative paths can prevent extreme reactions to setbacks.
3. *Watch for Signs of distress* – Sudden withdrawal, excessive worry, or expressions of hopelessness should never be ignored. Parents must be attentive to behavioral changes and provide reassurance.
4. *Teach Coping Mechanisms* – Life is full of challenges, and children need to learn how to handle disappointments constructively. Teaching emotional resilience and problem-solving skills is essential.
5. *Encourage a Growth Mindset* – Instead of focusing on failure, parents should help children see setbacks as opportunities for learning and improvement.

*LESSONS FOR CHILDREN*
1. *Your Worth is Beyond Grades* – A low score does not define intelligence or future success. Many successful people faced academic setbacks but thrived through perseverance.
2. *Speak Up About Struggles* – Bottling up emotions can be dangerous. Seeking help from parents, mentors, or counselors can provide perspective and solutions.
3. *Failure is Not the End* – There are multiple ways to achieve dreams. Retaking exams, exploring alternative courses, or developing new skills can lead to success.
4. *Mental Health is Important* – Stress and anxiety should be addressed. Practicing self-care, seeking guidance, and maintaining a positive outlook can help navigate tough times.
5. *Hope Always Exists* – Ironically, Faith received an admission offer 30 minutes after her death. This tragic twist underscores the importance of patience and trusting that setbacks can turn into opportunities.

This heartbreaking incident calls for a shift in how society views academic success. Parents must nurture emotional resilience in their children, and children must understand that setbacks are temporary. Life is bigger than one exam, and there is always hope beyond failure.

AS OUR CHILDREN RESUME SCHOOLS TODAY:
"Heavenly Father, we commit all our Children into Your hands as they resume school today. We ask for Your divine protection over them. Shield them from all harm, danger, accidents, and illnesses. Surround their schools with Your angels and grant them safety in all they do. In Jesus' name, Amen."

"Lord, we pray for a spirit of excellence upon every child. Give them wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to excel in their studies. Let them be diligent and focused, and may their efforts bring forth great results. Empower them to be leaders and positive influences in their schools. In Jesus' name, Amen."

"Father, we lift up the parents of these students to You. We ask that You bless them with financial provision. Let there be no struggle in paying school fees or meeting other needs. Open doors of opportunities for them and grant them peace of mind as they support their children’s education. In Jesus' name, Amen."

"Lord, we ask for a smooth transition for all the children as they adjust to the new school year. Help them to settle quickly into their routines and adapt to any changes. Give the teachers patience and wisdom to guide them well. In Jesus' name, Amen."

"Father, we declare that Your favor surrounds these students like a shield. Let them find favor with their teachers, peers, and everyone they encounter. May Your favor open doors of opportunity and grant them success in all their endeavors. In Jesus' name, Amen.

This school year, we reject every spirit of death in their various Schools, and we pray we shall not pay condolence visit to any of our parents homes.

Oh Lord, remember your words in Gen 17:4: "Behold, my covenant is with you", throughout this year, remember your covenant of life over all our children schools Schools. So shall it be in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Some great things people figure out too late in life.
Time passes much more quickly than you realize.

2. If you don't take care of your body early then it won't take care of you later. Your world becomes smaller each day as you lose mobility, continence and sight.

3. Money talks. It says "Goodbye." If you don't plan your finances for later in life, you'll wish you had.

4. People are far more important than any other thing in your life. No hobby, interest, book, work is going to be as important to you as the people you spend time with as you get older.

5. Any seeds you planted in the past, either good or bad, will begin to bear fruit and affect the quality of your life as you get older - for better or worse.

6. Jealousy is a wasted emotion. People you hate are going to succeed. People you like are going to sometimes do better than you did. Kids are going to be smarter and quicker than you are. Accept it with grace.

7. That big house you had to have becomes a bigger and bigger burden, even as the mortgage gets smaller. The cleaning, the maintenance, the stairs all of it. Don't let your possessions own you.

When you're winning keep your mouth shut.

2. Don't tell people your plans. Wait till the results speak for themselves.

3. Never expect to get what you give. Not everyone has a heart of flesh.

4. Every day you wake up, you have a new job... to be better than yesterday.

5. You will never get what you want until you are grateful for what you have.

6. Sometimes what you're trying to hold onto is exactly what you should let go.

7. If you want to buy things without looking at the price, work without looking at the clock.

8. God puts people in your life for a reason, and removes them from your life for a better reason.

9. The devil wouldn't be attacking you so hard if there wasn't something valuable in you. Thieves don't break into empty houses.

10. You're going to p**s a lot of people off when you start doing what's best for you.

11. You will lose a lot of friends when you get really serious about your life goals.

12. Life does not get EASIER. You just get STRONGER
