The Nutrition Month Celebration was conducted to raise awareness of the value of proper nutrition and healthy lifestyles among learners. Various educational and enjoyable activities were organized throughout the celebration to encourage active participation from Kindergarten to Grade 6 learners.
A Nutri-Booth showcasing nutritious foods, healthy meal options, and nutrition information was displayed to educate learners and visitors about balanced diets and proper food choices. The Poster Making Contest for Grades 1 to 6 encouraged learners to creatively express the importance of healthy eating through art, while the Slogan Making Contest for Grades 4 to 6 allowed learners to promote nutrition advocacy through meaningful messages.
The Healthy Cooking Contest for Grades 4 to 6 highlighted the preparation of affordable, nutritious, and locally available recipes, promoting practical healthy eating habits. Meanwhile, the Nutri-Costume Contest from Kindergarten to Grade 6 featured colorful costumes inspired by fruits, vegetables, and other nutritious foods, boosting learners' creativity and confidence.
The celebration successfully promoted nutrition awareness while fostering creativity, teamwork, and active participation among learners, teachers, parents, and stakeholders.
