*Youm-e-Takbeer Celebrated at APSAC GMH Trarkhel*
*APSAC GMH Trarkhel* observed *Youm-e-Takbeer on 21st May 2026* with great zeal and patriotic spirit. As *28th* May coincided with Eid holidays, the event was commemorated in advance to honor Pakistan’s historic achievement of becoming a nuclear power on *28th May 1998.*
The ceremony featured student-led activities that reflected love for the country and *national pride*. Students delivered *speeches* highlighting the significance of Youm-e-Takbeer for Pakistan’s defense and sovereignty. Poetry recitations added to the patriotic atmosphere, while a well-prepared skit portrayed the importance of unity, sacrifice, and scientific progress.
The observance served as a reminder of the enduring message:
“*We are a peaceful nation, but fully capable of defending our sovereignty at all costs*.” 🇵🇰

**International Day of the Markhor Observed at APSAC GMH Trarkhel – (24 May )**
*APSAC GMH Trarkhel *marked the International Day of the Markhor on 20th May with an awareness session during the CCA period.
Teachers conducted an engaging session to educate students about the markhor as Pakistan’s national animal, highlighting its unique characteristics, habitat, and the importance of wildlife conservation. Students participated actively, asked questions, and shared their understanding of protecting endangered species.
To make the learning more impactful, a documentary on the life of the markhor was screened, giving students a closer look at its natural environment and the efforts needed for its conservation.
The activity aimed to instill a sense of responsibility toward wildlife protection, environmental awareness, and national pride among young learners.
It was an informative and inspiring session that encouraged students to play their part in saving wildlife and preserving Pakistan’s natural heritage 🐐🇵🇰

*Cultural Festival Celebrated with Zeal at APSAC GMH Trarkhel – Pre Section*
A vibrant Cultural Festival was organized in the Pre Section of *APSAC GMH Trarkhel *to celebrate and promote awareness about the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Pakistan.
The young learners enthusiastically represented different provinces through colorful traditional attire, cultural displays, folk dances, and hands-on activities. The classrooms and corridors came alive with the colors of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir, giving students and parents a glimpse into Pakistan’s diversity.
It was an enjoyable, educational, and memorable experience for students, teachers, and parents alike.

*Labour Day Celebration – Pre-Junior Wing, APS GMH Trarkhel*
Our little stars celebrated Labour Day with warmth and gratitude. They paid tribute to the hardworking staff who support our school daily by dressing up as various labourers and recognizing their role in our community. Several students also brought lunch and gifts for the admin staff - the aya, peon, gatekeeper, and sweeper - as a small gesture of appreciation for their dedication.

*Inter-House Sports Competition (Group I & II)*
The Inter-House Sports Competition for Group I and Group II was successfully organized at *APS&C Ghazi Maqbool Hussain Tarkhel* with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and the spirit of healthy competition among students.
The program commenced with a well-organized opening *ceremony, graciously inaugurated by the esteemed Principal.*
In the opening address, the *Principal* emphasized the importance of sports in character building and encouraged students to participate actively while demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and fair play.
*House-wise competitions were conducted* in a systematic and organized manner, ensuring equal opportunities for all participants. A wide range of sports activities was arranged for students of both groups, catering to different age levels and abilities.
*The events included 100m race, sack race, spoon and marble race, cricket* , *badminton* etc.
