Today, we commemorate the importance of nationalism through the historic People Power Revolution—a defining moment that demonstrated the true power of Filipino unity. 🇵🇭
In 1986, along EDSA, millions of citizens gathered to declare that the real power of a nation lies in the hands of its people—not in violence, but in unity, conviction, and love of country.
As we honor the courage and sacrifice of our heroes, our students wear costumes that symbolize their bravery and patriotism. May this serve as a reminder that celebrating our heroes is not only for Buwan ng Wika or Independence Day, but a continuous expression of our appreciation for our history and freedom.
We can show nationalism by respecting our flag, singing the national anthem with pride, following school rules, and being good examples to others.
Let us remember: People Power is not just a part of history; it is a reminder that even as young individuals, we have the power to create positive change in our school and in our nation. 🇵🇭

A solemn Mass Celebration for the Quarter Recognition and First Holy Communion of our young learners was reverently conducted by our beloved Father Joefran Talaban on February 10, 2026. It was a meaningful and grace-filled occasion for our school community, as we gathered not only to recognize the achievements of our students but also to witness a significant milestone in their spiritual journey.

In his homily, Father Joefran beautifully emphasized the profound love of God and the importance of wholeheartedly accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. He reminded everyone that the Holy Eucharist is a special and precious gift — a sign of Christ’s abiding presence, love, and sacrifice for us. His inspiring message encouraged our young learners to nurture their faith, grow in love, and always carry Christ in their hearts.

May this sacred celebration continue to inspire our students to walk in faith, live with gratitude, and shine as witnesses of God’s love in their families and community.

The MCSD Christmas Party started with a Holy Mass celebrated by Father Joefran, reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas.

It is not about the gifts we receive, but about Jesus, who teaches us how to love. The value of a gift is not measured by its price, but by the love and sincerity of the one who gives. 🎄✨

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
