Compostela, Davao de Oro โ The Davao de Oro State College Reserve Officersโ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit completed this yearโs iteration of the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) with a solid 92.17 overall rating.
Held at the Compostela Sports Complex, the 335 snappy ROTC cadets took part in the nine facets of the RAATI: General Administration, Arrival Honors, Ceremonial Parade, Inspection in Ranks, Raid/Ambus, Close Order Drill, Military Stakes, First Aid/Basic Life Support, and Comprehensive Examination.
The RAATI evaluation team, led by Col Romeo N Bautista GSC (INF) PA and Col Merril C Sumalinog GSC (INF) PA, commended the cadets for their precision, discipline, and high level of preparedness exhibited throughout the inspection.
Also present during RAATI 2025 was DDOSCโs ROTC Commandant, Col Noli P Kanashiro, who has supervised the meticulous training of the cadets throughout the academic year.
DDOSC President Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay graced the event and lauded the cadets, ROTC officials, and National Service Training Program (NSTP) coordinators for their collective effort and discipline that led to the success of the activity.
โI want to reaffirm our institutionโs support for the ROTC program. We recognize its vital role in molding the youth into leaders grounded in patriotism, discipline, and selfless service,โ announced Dr. Matunhay.
Joining Dr. Matunhay were Criminology Department Program Head Maida Mae B. Calpo, MSc, Associate Program Head Diosdado Cruz, Jr., and NSTP Coordinator Eileen Charity D. Libron.
The ROTC Unitโs strong performance in RAATI 2025 reflects DDOSCโs commitment to holistic education that blends academic excellence with civic consciousness, leadership development, and nation-building.

The Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) will be held on May 22, 2025, at the Compostela Sports Complex (beside Compostela National High School), starting at 7:00 AM.
This prestigious event will showcase the discipline, preparedness, and excellence of our cadets as we aim to pass the inspection with flying colors. All ROTC personnel, cadets, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and witness the fruits of our training and dedication.

On May 4, 2025, at 0070H, the Davao De Oro State College - Main ROTC Unit proudly conducted its twelfth training day, a significant milestone for the cadets as they continued to develop their leadership skills and military discipline.
The day commenced with a prompt roll call, ensuring that all cadets were accounted for. Following this, the unit engaged in a series of vigorous physical exercises designed to enhance their endurance.
Under the expert guidance of SSg Noel G. Palmes (INF) PA, the cadets participated in comprehensive drills and ceremonies. These drills emphasized the importance of working together as a cohesive unit. The atmosphere was charged with determination as each cadet strived to achieve their personal best.
Throughout the session, both cadets and cadettes rehearsed various essential skills in preparation for upcoming events. They practiced Semaphore signaling, Method of Instruction (MOI), assembly and disassembly of the M16 rifle, First Aid techniques, map reading skills, and a silent drill routine. Each event was designed to refine their proficiency and bolster their confidence in practical scenarios.
The training day concluded at 1600H, with cadets reflecting on their progress and the invaluable lessons learned, eager to apply these skills in future exercises.

๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐|| On April 6, 2025, at 0700H, the Davao De Oro State College - Main ROTC Unit conducted its tenth training day, signifying a notable achievement for the cadets.
The training commenced with a prompt roll call, followed by an area cleaning exercise and physical conditioning activities aimed at improving endurance and fostering teamwork. Drills and ceremonies were executed under the guidance of SSgt. Noel G. Palmes (INF) PA.
A lecture on First Aid Training was led by Sgt. Wyndey R. Dalubatan and Sgt. Marcid Van T. Solinap, while Sgt. Rejill O. Labador GMA instructed the assembly and disassembly of the M16 rifle.
The session concluded at 1200H.
