A significant milestone was achieved as UM Bansalan College officially conducted its MOA Signing Ceremony for the establishment of a new Job Placement Office on April 23, 2026, at the UMBC Conference Room. This initiative strengthens collaboration among key partner agencies and aims to enhance employment services, provide career opportunities, and support the professional growth of students and graduates. The event highlights a shared commitment to bridging education and employment for a more empowered workforce.

The MOA was formally signed by key officials and partner offices, including: 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐂. 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐲, Regional Director of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region XI; 𝐋𝐞𝐨 𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐀. 𝐏𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨, Provincial Director of DOLE XI Davao del Sur Field Office; 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐄𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐆. 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬, Municipal Mayor of Bansalan; 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐞, President of the Association of PESO Managers (APEMA); 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐌. 𝐄𝐕𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐎, 𝐑𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦, 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝟗 from UM Bansalan College, for her outstanding achievement and exemplary performance in the 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, where she received her cash incentive cheque in recognition of her remarkable accomplishment.

The UM Bansalan College – Department of Criminal Justice Education also received its departmental cash incentive. The cheque was officially received by Dr. Jenny T. Hernan, School Director; Dr. Erick T. Baloran, Dean; and Dr. Miguel D. Hayag Jr., BS Criminology Program Chair.

Joining the recognition ceremony were the other topnotchers from the Main Campus and other branches, who likewise received their respective incentive cheques in honor of their exceptional performance in the licensure examination.

This milestone stands as a testament to the University’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, quality instruction, and the pursuit of professional success.
