Throughout our summer sessions, children explored camping, fruit, lively forest, and aquarium-themed dramatic play stations. Through pretend play, our learners built creativity, confidence, and Mandarin proficiency in fun and meaningful ways.

We loved watching the children learn, imagine, and grow all summer long, and we look forward to seeing everyone again next summer! 📚✨

Live Animal Showcase at Ya Ya! 🐔🐸🐰

Our summer learners had a wonderful time getting up close with some amazing animals! We learned all about a chicken, bullfrog, and bunny while discovering fun facts and seeing each animal up close. 🐰

Hands-on experiences like these make learning fun, engaging, and memorable!

Our Ya Ya learners made delicious banana yogurt pops! 🍌✨ Using yogurt, bananas, and colorful cereal, they created a sweet frozen treat while practicing mixing, layering, and hands-on cooking skills.

What a fun and tasty way to learn through play! 🌈

Our Ya Ya learners had so much fun visiting Children's Museum of Manhattan and exploring the Dynamic H2O exhibit! 💧✨ They learned about New York City’s water system through hands-on play, moving water through waterfalls, spinners, spouts, pipes, and bridges.

It was such a fun way to discover how water moves through our environment and why it is so important to our city! 🏙️💦

Our Ya Ya learners explored animal footprints through hands-on play! 🐾 They dipped different animal figures into paint, stamped their tracks onto paper, and compared how each footprint looked different. Such a fun way to learn about animals, patterns, and observation!

Our Ya Ya learners explored a bubbly science experiment with lemons and baking soda! They sprinkled baking soda on the lemon, poked it, and watched as lots of fizzy bubbles appeared. What a fun way to observe reactions, use our senses, and discover science through hands-on play! 🍋🫧

Our campers brought the great outdoors into the classroom through dramatic play! ⛺

The children went “camping” in the tent they created together and gathered around the campfire to roast pretend marshmallows. Through imagination, creativity, and teamwork, they explored what it might feel like to spend a night under the stars.
