Growing curiosity, one silkworm at a time 🐛
Our Ya Ya learners have been caring for and observing our silkworms as they grow and change each day. Through this real life experience, children practiced curiosity, responsibility, and gentle observation while learning about living things and the natural world.

From choosing colorful blooms to arranging each stem with care, this hands-on experience encouraged creativity, decision-making, and fine motor skills while celebrating the beauty of spring! ☀️

A little sunshine made our colors shine even brighter 🌈
Our class created beautiful rainbow suncatchers using colorful cellophane, exploring how light shines through and transforms each piece into glowing shades. When we took them outside, the sunlight brought their creations to life, inspiring even more creativity as they drew their own vibrant rainbows!

Looks like snow, tastes like a treat! ❄️
As part of our weather unit, children explored how something can look like snow but be something completely different. In this special activity, each class made their own blueberry “ice cream.""
They mashed soft Chinese yam, mixed in milk and a touch of sugar, and added blueberries and watched the texture transform into something that looked just like fluffy snow.
A fun and surprising way to connect food, texture, and weather while building fine motor skills and sensory awareness 🫐
