List of our So-Odori

So-odori are group dances that invite audience participation and are commonly learned by multiple yosakoi teams. Each prefectures have its own so-odori.

① Seicho Naruko Odori (正調鳴子踊り)
Very first piece of Yosakoi, made in 1945.
Using the folk music of Kochi prefecture Yosakoi Bushi（よさこい節）, it is choreographed based on a Japanese traditional dance (Nihon-Buyo).

②Yocchore (よっちょれ)
The second most famous piece of Yosakoi from Hokkaido prefecture. Derived from Hokkaido's folk song Soran Bushi (ソーラン節), it is choreographed in 1995 by a high school teacher who tried to reunite spoiled students through the dance.

③Hifumi (ひふみ)
Hifumi is one of the So-odori in Tokyo. It is made in 2018, as an anniversary song celebrating the 50 years of a Yosakoi festival in Tokyo.
