Distinguished Visit to Government Boys High School Sost

Government Boys High School Sost, Gojal, Hunza, had the honor of welcoming Director General Education GB Mr. Muhammad Murtaza Sahib, Director Education Gilgit Division Mr. Zulfiqar Sahib, and Deputy Director Education Hunza Mr. Faisal Shakir Sahib.

Principal Mr. Atta Ur Rehman briefed the distinguished officers on the school’s academic progress, ongoing initiatives, teaching practices, and efforts toward the holistic development of students. The visiting officers appreciated the dedication of the teaching staff, academic efforts, and effective supervision and encouraged the teachers to continue their commitment to quality education.

Sports Week 2026 | Day 2 🏏🏃‍♂️
The Honorable Deputy Director, Education Department Hunza, visited Hussainabad Cricket Ground today during the second day of Sports Week 2026, where students of Government Boys High School Sost actively participated in various sports activities.
The Head Teacher and teaching staff were present and actively supervised and guided the students throughout the activities, ensuring their participation, safety, and discipline.
The visit of the Honorable Deputy Director provided encouragement and motivation to the students. Such sports activities promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, confidence, leadership, healthy competition, and social skills, while contributing to the holistic development of students beyond the classroom.

Brief Report on Three-Day Training
A three-day training session organized by Community World Service Asia (CWSA) commenced today at Government Boys High School Sost, Gojal, Hunza.
The main objective of the training is to establish and implement Nature-Based Clubs (NBCs) in schools. The initiative aims to create awareness among students about nature, biodiversity, environmental protection, and sustainable practices through practical and engaging activities.
The first day of the training was successfully started with the participation of almost all nominated participants. The opening session was held today, marking the beginning of the three-day training program. The participants actively attending the session and showed keen interest in the objectives and activities of the program.
The training is expected to contribute towards promoting environmental awareness among students and encouraging them to take practical initiatives for the protection and conservation of nature.
