I sincerely thank Hon’ble Education Minister Ms. Sakina Itoo Sahiba for positively considering my request to reschedule important examinations falling between 24th and 27th June (7th Muharram to Ashura 10th Muharram).

This thoughtful decision, taken in view of the sanctity of Muharram and the large processions and Majlis being held across Kashmir during these days, will greatly ease the difficulties faced by students due to traffic diversions and road closures.

Grateful for her prompt intervention.
