Did you know? That there are multiple things that can put out a fire?

We all know about the fire triangle, consisting of oxygen, heat and fuel.

Remove one of those and you'll put out the fire!🔥

Remove the oxygen, and it's called Blanketing

Remove the heat, and it's called Cooling❄️

Remove the fuel, and it's called Starvation

But besides that,

There are also different classifications of fire, and these fires can only be put out by a specific type of fire extinguisher!!!

𝐻𝑂𝐿𝐴👋

Disasters are serious disruptions to the functioning of a community that exceed its capacity to cope using its own resources.

Us as humans, are not invincible, this means that we can be greatly affected by disasters, it can cause us injuries or worse, loss of lives.

Effects of Disasters does not only limit to humans, it can also destroy infrastructures, livelihood and etc.

In the number of disasters annually, an average of 20 typhoons, 100-150 earthquakes are felt per year and a total of 44 volcanic eruptions occurred in the last 400 years in the Philippines. These disasters naturally occur due to the position of the country. Where, casualties are always present. The Philippine Statistics Authorities recorded almost 12,100 deaths tolls from 2010-2019.

TᖇIᑭᒪᗴ ᗩ is an Advocacy initiated by a group of students from Grade 12 STEM Thermodynamics to raise disaster awareness, preparedness and readiness.
