“KARAPATAN”
KARAPATAN was founded in 1995 as an alliance of groups, organizations and individuals working for the promotion and protection of human rights in the Philippines. They conduct several programs to raise awareness about human rights in the country, including education and training, services programs, documentation and research, and networking.
However, a large portion of KARAPATAN’s work involves campaigning and advocacy through which they seek to develop a strong public opinion and support for human rights issues and concerns. To achieve this, they lobby for the defense and promotion of human rights and disseminate information about the importance of human rights.
Their advocacy inspires me because they give the right to fight for their will, they help to seek justice for those people who difficulty or Inability to have justice.

The filipino advocate that inspires me is Alyssa Valdez, She is a former UAAP champ and current professional volleyball player has scaled sporting heights that only few can manage, yet she acknowledges that she still has a lot to work on. Win or lose, she's constantly driven to push herself to go even further. In her interview she talks about a motivation, she use her lose as a motivation to improve herself.
Her advocacy that inspires me is that there are people lose their motivations in life and she motivates us to not give up to achieve our goals in life.

The Filipino advocate that inspired me is Kyle verzosa, yes! Kylie verzosa is a Filipino actress, model, and beauty queen who was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2016 and Miss International 2016. (Wikipedia, 2022)and also an advocate for mental health. In her previous interview Toni talks she talks about her journey in mental health, she used this experience to become an advocate for other people. She creates mental health matters to give awareness about depression and To have a good support system for those people who suffer from mental health Illnesses. This mental health matter is an organization that helps and builds a supportive community for people experiencing depression
Her advocacy inspired me that there are people who suffer from depression that have no good support system when they encounter this situation. Mental health Illness does not choose anyone, it is very important to take care of our mental health. it is also important to give awareness to everyone about this.
This also proves that she was beautiful inside and out.

I remember that when I first read the book, I was so happy when I finished reading it, I'm still thrilled. I just saw it under our table then, I remembered that my sister just borrowed that book from her friend Joy. My sister really likes to read books that she just influences me. Since I finished reading one book, one book followed another. I can't stop reading different books. And in my one year of reading, I thought of writing my own story on Wattpad, but I didn't have many readers there, so I stopped writing stories.

Mental health awareness is the ongoing effort to reduce the stigma around mental illness and mental health conditions by sharing our personal experiences. Often, because of misconceptions about mental health and mental fitness, people often suffer in silence and their conditions go untreated.
