In a striking showcase of determination and skill, three goal-driven Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) students brought home glory from this year’s regional State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) Meet.

Rica Roble, a third-year powerhouse, extended her medal-winning legacy by clinching her second gold in the Arnis Non-Traditional Individual Double Weapon (Women’s Forms Competition). Her swift strikes and flawless ex*****on left a mark of excellence.

Moreover, Jillyza Romero, a first-year rising star, secured a bronze in the Arnis Non-Traditional Individual Single Weapon (Women’s Forms Competition), delivering a performance that showcased both grace and grit.

Not to be left behind, Raylee Lascoñia, a second-year talent, stood tall with a bronze finish in the Arnis Non-Traditional Individual Double Weapon (Men’s Forms Competition), proving the tenacity of our Tigers.

With their fierce performances, these champions proudly joined the roster of BiPSU’s SCUAA medalists, carrying the banner of the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) and the BSBA program to new heights.

The sport event, held at Anislag Elementary School on December 10, saw our Arnis Tigers embody the spirit of resilience and excellence.

Our Bipsu JBEC officers conducted the "United in Purpose: A Successful Clean-Up”. The Junior Business dedicated their time and effort to make a difference in the University. Our BSBA students enthusiastically participated in the 17th Leyte Business Conference, which was co-hosted by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tacloban-Leyte, Inc. and held on October 17-18, 2023 at the Leyte Academic Center Annex in Palo, Leyte.

We also want to thank President Victor C. Cañezo, Jr. , the University President, who has always been supportive of the students, as well as the Dean, Dr. Christopher R. Vicera, and the program chairperson, Dr. Vicente Q. Solteo, for sending the students to attend the event. Lastly, the SAS Supreme Student Council for sponsoring the travel expenses of the attendees. Thank you everyone.

Fourteen (14) BSBA students are currently attending in the 2 days Annual Leyte Business Conference with two faculty members Ma'am Gerly S. Radam, JBEC Adviser, and Ma'am Jade C. Jornales, SAS-SSC Adviser-External, which is being co-presented by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tacloban-Leyte Inc., in partnership with the Province of Leyte and the Municipality of Palo, as part of the 17th Leyte Business Month Celebration with the theme “Bridging the future of Region VIII” at Leyte Academic Center Annex, Palo, Leyte.

Again, congratulations to our very own BSBA faculty members, Sir Jeremy D. Balondo, and Ma’am Jade C. Jornales.
