THE TEMPORARY NATURE OF POWER AND THE WISDOM OF HUMILITY

Power is never permanent — today’s advantage may be tomorrow’s undoing. Treat others with fairness, for life has a way of reversing roles.

1. POWER IS A PASSING SEASON

No position, title, or influence lasts forever. History has proven that those who were once mighty have eventually been replaced, forgotten, or humbled. Power is like the wind — it shifts from one direction to another without notice. The wise understand this and never boast in what can fade. When you hold power, whether in leadership, wealth, or influence, handle it as a temporary stewardship, not a permanent possession.

2. HUMILITY PRESERVES GREATNESS

Arrogance shortens the lifespan of power. Many have fallen, not because of lack of skill, but because pride blinded them to their limitations. Humility, on the other hand, extends influence. A humble heart listens, learns, and leads with compassion. True greatness is not found in how many people serve you, but in how faithfully you serve others. Humility builds bridges that power alone can never maintain.

3. THE TEST OF CHARACTER IN AUTHORITY

Power does not change people — it reveals who they truly are. When authority is given, the heart’s true condition comes to light. Some use power to dominate, while others use it to empower. The difference lies in character. Leadership without integrity becomes tyranny, but leadership guided by wisdom becomes a blessing. Always remember: Character outlives position.

4. THE INEVITABLE REVERSAL OF ROLES

Life is cyclical. The one you look down upon today may become your superior tomorrow. Circumstances shift — fortunes rise and fall — but the seed of kindness remains constant. When you treat others with dignity, even in their weakness, you sow a harvest of mercy for your future. The powerful should never forget that tables turn, seasons change, and the humble may one day be exalted.

5. WISDOM IN DEALING WITH PEOPLE

Power must be balanced with empathy.

A FERTILE MIND IS KEY TO PRODUCTIVITY!!!

James 2:18-20-
-God gave you a Spirit which is a divine connector,and everything that God wants to do in your life or environment, He always drops it in your spirit, but at the same time God gave you an earthly gadget called the 'MIND' to transform the spiritual transactions or dreams into a reality.
-That's why James says that faith(the spiritual dreams) without an action (the mind) is a dead works.
-Faith is conceived into your spiritual womb but you need the mind to transform or convert it into a reality(the tangibles) .
-You need a fertile mind to convert your faith(the spiritual) into the tangibles.
-To transform your mind, you must first leave away the attitude of thinking 'me'and 'I' mentality and begin thinking about influence (having the generational scope of influence ).
-When your faith is in a state of no impact, you are counted as foolish (unproductive, and spiritual deficient).
-You cannot claim to know what you can't do(knowing without implementation is as good as worthless and useless).
-You can only be poor if you keep your head in suspension (never carry your spirit without the head,because after faith,there's working out part(the mind),many Christians are full of Faith but still poor and struggling to make the ends meet because many always tend to suspend their mind(the action part), thus only remaining with spiritual riches that haven't been converted into tangibles .
-Saying things with maturity makes sense because they carries the understanding.
-You are a well of riches but the reason for the many struggles is the problem upstairs(a dormant mind).
Genesis 13:14-
-You build your mind by what you see, so be careful with what you see.
-Focus your sight only on what you desire to conceive in your mind.
-Your mind must comprehend what you desires to manifest , because if you spirit can visualise it, and your mind comprehends it then your hands will definitely hold it.
-Begin to refuse free things

FACTS OF LlFE

1. Take risks in your life. If you win, you can lead; if you lose, you can guide.

2. People are not what they say but what they do; so judge them not from their words but from their actions.

3. When someone hurts you, don't feel bad because it's a law of nature that the tree that bears the sweetest fruits gets maximum number of stones.

4. Take whatever you can from your life because when life starts taking from you, it takes even your last breath.

5. In this world, people will always throw stones on the path of your success. It depends on what you make from them - a wall or a bridge.

6. Challenges make life interesting; overcoming them make life meaningful.

7. There is no joy in victory without running the risk of defeat.

8. A path without obstacles leads nowhere.

9. Past is a nice place to visit but certainly not a good place to stay.

10. You can't have a better tomorrow if you are thinking about yesterday all the time.

11. If what you did yesterday still looks big to you, then you haven't done much today.

12. If you don't build your dreams, someone else will hire you to build theirs.

13. If you don't climb the mountain; you can't view the plain.

14. Don't leave it idle - use your brain.

15. You are not paid for having brain, you are only rewarded for using it intelligently.

16. It is not what you don't have that limits you; it is what you have but don't know how to use.

17. What you fail to learn might teach you a lesson.

18. The difference between a corrupt person and an honest person is: The corrupt person has a price while the honest person has a value.

19. If you succeed in cheating someone, don't think that the person is a fool...... Realize that the person trusted you much more than you deserved.

20. Honesty is an expensive gift; don't expect it from cheap people.
