Huge congratulations to the Zone 3 Volleyball Girls for securing a fantastic 5th-place finish!

We send a special shoutout and big warm hugs to our very own Luyon Elementary School athletes who stepped up and shined as key players on this amazing team, Jen Erica Balderama and Emira Novelyn Simeon—watching two of our own compete with such skill and heart makes our entire school community beam with pride.

A huge thank you as well to their wonderful parents, whose unwavering love, sacrifices, and support behind the scenes made this journey possible. Keep chasing your dreams, girls; your Luyon ES family is cheering you on every step of the way!

We extend our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to our brothers of Alpha Phi Omega (APO Apayao Alumni Association #087 and Rho Gamma Chapter - ASC Luna) for their successful community service at Luyon Elementary School.

Through your help and spirit of communal unity (bayanihan), we successfully repaired the roof of our makeshift building and installed a perimeter fence for the safety and well-being of our learners. Your continuous demonstration of Leadership, Friendship, and Service is a true inspiration and a tremendous help to our school.

Look: Luyon Elementary School Concludes Nutrition Month 2026 Culminating Activity

Yesterday, Luyon Elementary School successfully held its Culminating Activity for Nutrition Month 2026, bringing together learners, teaching staff, and parents in a shared effort to champion health and sustainability.

The day opened with an invigorating Zumba fitness exercise involving the entire school community. Following the workout, participants engaged in the continuation of the school vegetable garden initiative, promoting food sustainability and hands-on learning.

The celebration concluded with the Awarding Ceremony for the outstanding participants in the Poster Making and Slogan Competitions, recognizing their artistic expression and commitment to healthy living advocacy.

Congratulations to all the awardees, and thank you to the teachers, pupils, and parents for your continued support!

Look: Luyon Elementary School and Capagaypayan Elementary School gathered for a joint Cluster Learning Action Cell (LAC) session centered on Upskilling: Real-Life Learning Approaches

In a shared commitment to teaching excellence and learner success, the dedicated educators of Luyon ES and Capagaypayan ES conducted LAC Session on Upskilling: Real-Life Learning Approaches. The collaborative activity served as a dynamic platform for teachers to align their strategies with modern pedagogical practices, ensuring that lessons go beyond basic theory and directly connect with students' daily experiences.

The session was successfully facilitated by Sir Romel Agbayani, Master Teacher I, who served as the resource person. Drawing from his extensive expertise, Sir Agbayani delivered an insightful and actionable presentation, equipping participants with innovative techniques to make classroom learning more practical, engaging, and relevant. Both schools extend their deep gratitude for this meaningful knowledge-sharing experience as they continue to grow together for the benefit of their learners.

As we continue celebrating Nutrition Month 2026, Luyon Elementary School successfully held its Week 3 activity, Cooking Demonstrations & Food Fair on July 23,2026.

Our wonderful teachers, eager learners, and supportive parents joined hands to showcase delicious, highly nutritious, and sustainable recipes—all while proudly promoting fresh, local produce from our community.

Together, we prove that healthy eating isn't just good for our bodies, but also kind to our planet.
